2019 Summer Camp

Our camp which will be led by the passionate, fun-loving, and experienced, Mrs. Shyanne, and is designed for children age 3-6 and offers a great balance of creative learning and fun summer recreational activities. Our program is based in the Beth Jacob Synagogue which boasts a gymnasium, kitchen, outdoor play area, and garden, conveniently located near the South Leisure Neighbourhood Centre, Regina Public Library George Bothwell Branch, Gordon Park, and Dr. A.E. Perry Park playground. We offer a safe, peaceful and caring environment for learning and play.

Weekly themes will guide our play and learning. Each week will have a different theme with Montessori work and play activities, special guests, field trips, stories, art and craft activities, songs, movement and games, and lots more fun under the sun. Look out for our calendar of activities to view the daily schedule of events!

Our days will involve the children exploring the many Montessori materials in our prepared environment, including Practical Life, Sensorial, Cultural, Language, and Math with some materials introduced to small groups and others, individually, so that the children are given the opportunity to engage, socially, and learn, independently. We will make summer snacks and drinks, gather together to sing and dance, listen to stories, and engage in creative explorations. We will have summer-fun activities, such as going to the spray park (weather permitting), enjoying outdoor picnics and games, having special guests, going on field trips such as the Science Center and Preschool Storytime at the George Bothwell library.

Camp begins at 9:00 AM, with an early drop-off option at 8:00 AM. Campers age 3 to 6 can choose to end their day at noon, or stay until 4:00 PM.  There is an optional add-on hour until 5:00 PM.
